h i & W E L C O M E !

I’m Rebekah, and this is where I share Jewish holiday ideas, recipes, handmade details, and the occasional personal detour. I launched my blog in 2019 after spending years working at places like Martha Stewart Living, Good Housekeeping, and other sparkling magazine environments where aesthetics and detail matter deeply. I wanted to bring that same visual care to the Jewish tradition I love, to draw out and illuminate the beauty I already saw in Jewish life. Over the years, my website, newsletter, and Instagram have grown into a living scrapbook of what it looks like to build a Jewish home in real time.

I grew up in a household where tradition ran deep and creativity was everywhere. My dad spoke Yiddish and Shabbat dinners were nonnegotiable; my mom, a Broadway actress and painter, filled the house with music, art, and endless handmade beauty. That mix of depth and delight still guides me, and I like to think of my work as a form of remembering that I get to pay forward.

I’m proud to have been featured by Food Network Magazine, PBS, Bon Appétit, Woman’s Day, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn, Hulu, and more, and in 2022, The Jewish Week named me one of their “36 to Watch,” honoring innovators shaping the future of Jewish life. I’m also a classically trained singer and former professional performer, which is now mostly irrelevant, but feels emotionally necessary to include here.

I live in Connecticut with my husband and two sons—my most joyful collaborators. By day, I’m still an editor (now at Forbes); by nights and most weekends, I’m dreaming up my next project/party. Or recovering from one.

So happy you’re here.
